To create a Google Sheet and share it with others, you can follow these steps:


  • Sign in to your Google Account. If you don’t have one, you can create a new account for free.
  • Once you’re signed in, click on the “New” button to create a new document and select “Google Sheets” from the drop-down menu. This will open a new blank spreadsheet.
  • Give your spreadsheet a name by clicking on the “Untitled spreadsheet” text at the top-left corner and typing in a new name.
  • Start populating your spreadsheet with data, formulas, and formatting as needed. You can use the toolbar at the top of the page for various functions like adding rows, columns, and applying formatting options.
  • To share the Google Sheet with others, click on the “Share” button in the top-right corner. This will open the sharing settings.
  • In the “Share with people and groups” section, enter the email addresses or Google Account names of the individuals you want to share the sheet with. You can also set their permissions by choosing from the options: “Can edit,” “Can comment,” or “Can view.” If you want to allow anyone with the link to access the sheet, you can click on the “Get shareable link” button and adjust the permissions accordingly.
  • After entering the email addresses or adjusting the link sharing settings, click on the “Send” button to send the invitation to collaborate on the sheet.
  • The individuals you’ve shared the Google Sheet with will receive an email notification and will be able to access and collaborate on the sheet based on the permissions you granted.

When you work on Google Sheets, be sure to save your modifications frequently so that your work is stored immediately. The document can be edited by you and your collaborators at the same time, and any additions or changes will be reflected immediately.
